Acupressure Points

Applying pressure to acupuncture points can help stimulate the channels and communicate with the nervous system.

Immunity Support

Some helpful points to stimulate immunity are: GB20, ST36, LU7, LI4, LU9, Ren17. Click on the image to see location guidelines and functions of the point. When locating points, feel for a tender spot or a place when your finger seems to dip slightly. Most acupuncture points are noticeable once you find them!

GB20 “Wind Pool” protects the body from exterior pathology

ST36 “Leg Three Miles” tonifies qi and blood

LU7 “Broken Sequence” pushes pathology out of the body

LI4 “Joining Valley” regulates the protective qi (do not stimulate during pregnancy)

LU 9 “Supreme Abyss” tonifies the lungs and clears phlegm

Ren17 “Chest Center” treats shortness of breath and cough

    Reducing Stress

All acupuncture points calm the nervous system, but here are a few of my favorite points for reducing stress that you can easily activate yourself: Du 20, Yin Tang, PC 6, SP 6, LV 3, HT7

Du 20 “Hundred Meetings” calms the spirit

Yin Tang “Hall of Impression” calms anxiety and insomnia

PC 6 “Inner Pass” Opens the chest and clears heat from the heart

SP 6 “Three Yin Intersection” calms the spirit (do not stimulate during pregnancy)

LV 3 “Great Rushing” moves and settles qi in the whole body

HT 7 “Spirit Gate” calms the spirit and regulates the heart

Gillian has taken the pains, aches & truly the stress of 20 years as a professional chef and allowed them to melt away. Through her incredible energy and attentiveness she has made me feel welcome, heard & appreciated every moment i am in her company..

The best part of my month is when I get to allow her to work her magic and pull away any stress or pains I have been holding on to.”
