About Twelve Rivers Medicine and Gillian Rose, MAcOM, LAc.

In East Asian Medicine all energetics are on a spectrum and health is about returning to balance and harmony within that spectrum.
Health means bringing the body into the right relationship with the rhythms and patterns of the universe, the earth, the seasons and everything in between.
Creating balance in the body has influences far beyond the individual. In my perspective and practice this makes it a very inclusive medicine for all body types, health issues, identities and phases of life.
At Twelve Rivers Medicine treatments focus on pain management, mental health, digestive health, hormone support, restorative sleep, recovery from traumatic injury, pre- and post- surgical care, scar work, chronic and autoimmune disease, health maintenance and empowered self care strategies.

Areas of specialty include:
- Sensitivity
- Activism burnout
- Nervous system dysregulation
- Gender transition
- Somatic symptoms of trauma
- Altered consciousness integration
- ADHD
- Hormone regulation

Twelve Rivers Medicine is committed to an equity-based and socially just vision of healthcare in which the needs of BIPOC, queer, trans and gender non-conforming patients and patients with other marginalized identities are seen and honored. This practice supports health at every size, values people of all abilities and offers trauma-informed care.
